The following two tender notices were placed in the Belfast Telegraph, Irish News and Irish Times on 30th April 2004. Interested parties are invited to register their desire to be included on select tender lists in writing by
noon 14th May 2004

PROCUREMENT OF EQUIPMENT
CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

LSS Ltd. wish to call for interest from competent suppliers with oil terminal equipment experience to be considered for inclusion in a select list to be invited to tender for the supply of equipment associated with the construction of a Road Fuel and Non Road Fuel Storage and Distribution Terminal at the Carakeel Industrial Estate, Londonderry.

Interest to be Expressed Individually For the Following Equipment / Items.

Ship Offloading Hoses and associated handling equipment
Pipe Isolating Valves up to 300 NB for Fuel Service Anti Static Firesafe rating, manually / motor operated
Pipe Line Thermal Relief and Pressure Control Valves
Fuel and Additive Storage Tanks / Tank Gauging Equipment for 10000m3 Storage Tanks
Fuel Transfer Pumps Centrifugal 4500 lpm / Submersible Water Drainage Pumps 2000 lpm
Fuel Additive Injection PD Pump sets 90 lpm / Gantry Additive and Dye Injection Equipment
Bottom Loading Gantry Loading Arms and Hoses complete with Road Tanker Couplings
Loading Gantry Flow Meters / Flow Control Valves / Line Filters / Preset Electronic Controllers
Gantry Road Tanker Overfill Protection and Static Earthing system
MCC Panel comprising DOL starters, common control/plc and small power distribution panel
Area Lighting standards and Floodlight fittings / External CCTV systems
Electrical Control components e.g. Level Switches, Junction Boxes etc

The construction programme will be staged between mid 2004 and mid 2005. All equipment must comply with ATEX directive 94/9/EC. It is anticipated that all orders will be valued under �100,000. Respondents to indicate previous track record in the supply and support of specific equipment relevant to the project. Responses in writing quoting reference 4670/05 to be received at the address listed below by noon 14th May 2004. Select lists will be established after review of submissions.

LSS Ltd. wish to call for interest from suitably resourced contractors with specific oil terminal experience to be considered for inclusion in a select list to be invited to tender for the works associated with the construction of a Road Fuel and Non Road Fuel Storage and Distribution Terminal at the Carakeel Industrial Estate, Londonderry.

Interest to be Expressed Individually For the Following Works.

1. Fabrication and Installation of Ship to Shore Fuel Import Pipe work (value over �500,000)
2. Fabrication and Installation of Tank Farm Interconnecting Pipe work. (value over �500,000)
3. Fabrication and Installation of Additive System and Bottom Loading Gantry Facilities. (value over �500,000)
4. Fabrication and Installation of Terminal Fire Fighting Facilities. (value over �100,000)
5. Minor civil works comprising plant support plinths (value under �50,000)
6. Electrical Power Distribution, Process Control, Security and Instrumentation Cabling (value over �100,000)
7. Gantry Steelwork (value under �50,000)

Construction programme will be staged between mid 2004 and mid 2005. Form of Contract will be MF1. A Pre Qualification Questionaire can be obtained only by initially expressing an interest in writing quoting reference 4670/04 to the address listed below by noon 14th May 2004. Select lists will be established after review of completed Pre Qualification questionnaires.
